Uncharted Plot Synopsis

Joining him in his quest are Victor 'Sully' Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg) and Chloe Frazer (Sophia Ali), who together set out to find a 500-year-old treasure hidden in some ancient Spanish pirate ships.

They aren't the only ones on the hunt for the missing golden loot, as the evil billionaire Moncada (Antonio Banderas) and his deadly partner in crime Braddock (Tati Gabrielle) are also on the hunt for this spectacular find.

 Does Nathan Drake get gold?

On a globetrotting mission that takes Nathan from the catacombs of Berlin to the rooftops of Barcelona, Drake follows clues to the treasure through postcard messages written to him sam.

Using a pair of golden cross keys, Drake solves puzzle after puzzle until he finally washes ashore on the beaches of the Philippines (after falling off a plane) and discovers the gold inside two giant pirate ships hidden in a cave. .

He and Sully collect as much gold as they can, but are interrupted by Braddock, who hijacks the ships using helicopters. As the ships and our adventurers take off, the battle begins as Drake and Sully battle Braddock and his tough crew.

What happens during a pirate ship battle?

During the aerial firefight, Sully manages to board one of the helicopters and Drake remains aboard one of the ships below. As the battle continues, Braddock and his men are killed, but Drake's victory is short-lived as the airships crash into the sea, taking the lost treasure with them.

Sully manages to save Drake before he too falls into the watery depths, but is disappointed that the gold is gone. However, all is not lost.

Before the ships were destroyed, Drake somehow pocketed some gold bars, which caused hilarity for both of them. They take their fortune and fly off into the sunset as the closing credits begin to roll.

  Are there post-credit scenes?

Yes, there are two scenes, even though they are shot in the middle.

The first scene takes place in a dirty prison in an unknown location. In one of the cells is a scruffy-looking man with disheveled hair and a long beard. He writes a postcard that he signs with the letter S. This is the same signature found on the postcards Drake used to find the treasure. So the identity of the man is clear: it is Sam, who is not dead at all.

The second scene shows Nathan meeting a mysterious man wearing a blindfold. They are there for exchange. Nathan wants the treasure map the man is holding in exchange for his family heirloom ring (once owned by Sir Francis Drake, no less).

In the video game, the ring contained the coordinates of the legendary El Dorado, and one can assume the same is true here. A fight breaks out between the two men and then Sully comes out (with his trademark mustache) to help. Then they flee the scene, presumably with whatever they need to help them on their next treasure-hunting mission.
